This flower is commonly known as the Sword Bossiaea, a type of “pea flower” found along the Eastern coast of Australia. Interestingly enough, the shrub does not have any leaves (except sometimes on juvenile stems such as this one), with the function of the leaves performed by the stems of the plant. I found this one while walking along a bush trail in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Australia.
