This is the Rose-crowned Fruit Dove, a colourful little bird found in the lowland rain-forests of northern and eastern Australia, and monsoon forests of northern Australia (according to Wikipedia). I found this one hiding in a tree and looking down curiously at the weirdo with his camera.
